Love at first sight

Ok this girl is Baci (Bah CHee)

She is the most adorable dog yet!!! If I
could have taken her home I would have.

She was an absolute doll on the table!!!

Demo day 1

The teacher Brenda C. did a demo day with some dogs. We were able to do some cutting and clipper but she did most of the finish because these dogs had special patterns we are not familiar with yet.

First is Hershey -- an American Cocker Spaniel

Here is Sophie - a CockaPoo
Brenda is showing us how to do a fluff dry

I was the one to shape her legs, head and ears with scissors :D

School days

So today was day 5 of school and I thought I would do a little back track in pictures.

Yesterday we groomed two dogs and gave a bath to two others (only have pictures for one).

This here is JD. She is a
Boxer mix and aprox 6 months old. She was very good for her bath and blow dry. This was her first time.

This here is Harry before

he wasnt to keen on things at first.

And After

Here is Mandy and my classmate

the reason for the trip -- the girls

This is Boostie (doe on right) who my friend is getting

Also my friends doe -- Gizmo
My doe Mocha
My spur of the moment doe - Star (side note, she is mom to the doeling in the first picture with Boostie)

We are all home safe and sound

The trip is catching up to me (especially the lack of sleep) but I am grateful we arrive home safe and sound.

Here is the sunrise

there was on and off bad fog even after the sunrise

Arrived in NJ just a bit ago - stopping for breakfast at a bagle shop. Should arrive home within the hour
Drove all through the night and if the GPS is correct we will arrive home in NJ around 11:30am traffic isn't to bad now but earlier the fog was terrible!!!
First 4 hours gone and we lost an hour when entering EST. Switched drivers now - gonna try and get some sleep so I can take over later on quite possibly for the home stretch. ETA is 11:30am monday, July 6th.

The day is beautiful which makes the drive quite pleasant

Loving the new speed limit ;)

Stopping for gas and a potty break off I40west. We gained an hour so it's 3:10pm now :) too cool! Our ETA is 6:30pm now but that will change more then likely since we are taking this break. Over and out
Driving though Knoxville at 3:23pm and listening to Odyssey

When I got up I saw this and found it funny.

Certainly not in NJ anymore.

(for those none NJ folk - the state of NJ has banned smoking indoors)

Home sweet home... well for tonight

Some nascar dude is here
